Speckles conquer our bathrooms: How do you combine with terrazzo?
Terrazzo, also known as granito, is the exuberant brother of marble and natural stone. This stone does surprisingly well not only in the living room and kitchen, but also in the bathroom. The key to success? The versatility and ease of maintenance, because terrazzo can take a beating! The character of terrazzo fits well with both minimalist and classic bathrooms. You can use terrazzo as a floor tile, sill, sink, ... The possible applications in your sanitary facilities are endless! The pieces bring a special accent in a sleek interplay of lines. Read all our interior tips here to combine terrazzo in your bathroom.
Terrazzo or granito is a material that consists of marble chips, often residual materials, that have been set in cement or another binder. That makes it an ecological choice compared to new materials. Nowadays, residual materials of granite, glass and metal are also used. The correct flakes are put together and then poured into concrete. The real terrazzo has a mineral base and is not cast in an alternative material such as synthetic resin. As a final step, the surface is polished until it is completely smooth.
A practical material
Granito is an extremely practical material for the bathroom. It is a strong, durable and easy to clean type of stone. Terrazzo is also extremely impact and scratch resistant and you won't see many stains on it thanks to the busy print. Ideal for the bathroom!
Terrazzo sinks
The color is not only reflected in tiles, but we also see Terrazzo Lavabo's, washbasins and washbasin tops more often. That gives the luxury that if you want to change the color after a few years, you can simply change the sink or the top, and your bathroom will have a completely different look. That makes our concept so unique. Customize your own furniture sets and feel free to change your sink after a few years, your bathroom will remain unique and fashionable without having to incur huge costs.

Terrazzo floor tiles in the bathroom
Do you like Mediterranean style bathrooms? Then terrazzo is the perfect floor covering for you. This surface comes into its own very well in the bathroom. You can choose from a large number of colors by mixing different materials. You can perform a terrazzo floor with tiles or as a cast floor. Cast floors are seamless and therefore impermeable to liquids.
Terrazzo tiles are easier to install in your bathroom. You can therefore use the terrazzo floor tile against the wall of your shower and bath to create a beautiful whole. Please note that you do not cover entire walls with terrazzo, because then it can quickly become too much.
Countless color combinations
Thanks to the diversity of materials in terrazzo, countless color combinations are possible. As a result, there is always a terrazzo item that fits perfectly in your bathroom. Terrazzo can bring together different bright colors, which is very useful in a vintage interior.
Terrazzo combinations everywhere
If you opt for a total picture with granito and you do not just repeat the same pattern in your bathroom, but in different rooms, you get a unique atmosphere in your home. Unity radiates a lot of power. Terrazzo will act as an eye-catcher in a minimalist bathroom, while it can guarantee an authentic touch in modern sanitary facilities.
